Volunteer
Bicycle Queensland is a not-for-profit, self-funded organisation whose aim is to increase cycling participation and achieve better conditions for cyclists. The Wilson HTM Brisbane to the Gold Coast Cycle Challenge takes an enormous effort to organise and simply cannot be done without the help of a large team of volunteers.
Becoming a volunteer can be a very rewarding and satisfying experience for people of all ages and walks of life. For our major events, we have approximately 250 volunteers who assist with registrations & general administrative duties, food distribution at Rest Stops, road marshalling, pedestrian and directional marshalling, and more.
Whether you are a student interested in gaining work experience in the events industry or a retired professional looking for ways to contribute to the community, we can find a role to suit you.
