The Santos GLNG Brisbane to the Gold Coast Cycle Challenge is set for Sunday 7 October.
Bicycle Queensland is pleased to announce Santos GLNG as the Principal Sponsor for the 2012 ride.
BQ Manager Ben Wilson welcomes Santos GLNG as naming rights sponsor, “Santos is already identified in the international cycling community with the Santos Tour Down Under, so the fit of Santos GLNG beside Queensland’s biggest bike ride is snug. We have long been impressed by their commitment to encourage staff in Queensland to cycle through the provision of excellent workplace facilities, so the fit with BQ is all the more,” Mr Wilson said.
Santos GLNG President Mark Macfarlane said Santos GLNG was proud to be partnering with Bicycle Queensland to sponsor the Brisbane to the Gold Coast Cycle Challenge.
“We are pleased to support this event as part of a large portfolio of arts and community partnerships,” Mr Macfarlane said.
“A high percentage of our team are heavily involved in the cycling community and I look forward to their participation on 7 October.”
Entries to open in June.
